Hi  everyone! My name is Samantha and I’m from the piney woods of East  Texas. I love music, writing songs, and making people laugh! I was  raised Catholic but didn’t make the Catholic faith my ‘own’ until  college. Deep down I knew there was something more but I didn’t quite  know how to find it. I would continue to pray for good friendships and  for the Lord to bring good people into my life.

My  sophomore year of college I was reached out to by a group of Catholic  missionaries who invited me into bible study and into their lives. They  won my trust and invited me to attend a FOCUS SEEK conference. I said  ‘yes’ and I was met with the gaze of Christ and his mercy during  adoration. The Lord met me at my lowest and invited me to sit at His  table and he has encouraged me to do the same for others.

In  St. Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians he says, “so, being  affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only  the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very  dear to us.” I want to teach others how to live a good life but  especially a good life with Christ! I am honored to be able to do that here at Prince of Peace.
