Faith and Friendship is a Catholic ministry for singles aged 55 and up, centered on faith. We aim to create a warm, lively community where members can deepen their relationship with Christ, form genuine friendships, and share their life experiences and wisdom. We offer various social activities and opportunities to attend Mass and Eucharistic Adoration, promoting meaningful fellowship, spiritual development, and a sense of belonging within the Prince of Peace community.

The group meets at least once a month for “Mass and Mingle”: attending the Saturday 5 pm Vigil Mass followed by dinner. Members can also suggest other activities via GroupMe, accessible to all enrolled members. Activities include movie nights, game nights, dance or cooking lessons, shared meals, pickleball, bowling, walks, hikes, cultural events, and more. Participation depends on individual interest and availability. Our aim is to foster a joyful, supportive, Christ-centered community that encourages lasting, faithful friendships. 

Our next gathering is on October 17. We will attend the 5:00 p.m. Saturday Vigil Mass, then meet for dinner at Mi Cocina (LakeSide Market – 4001 Preston Road, #502). Please RSVP to the email below if you would like to join us. We look forward to meeting you!
